Gardaí investigating the discovery of a body in unexplained circumstances say they're not looking for any other person or vehicle in relation to the incident.
The man in his late 20s was found on the roadside in Slane Co. Meath on Saturday.
He was found unconscious beside his e-scooter on the N51 in Harmanstown, Slane shortly before 3am on Saturday, and was treated at the scene but later died.
A post mortem of the victim has been carried out, the results of which are not being released for operational reasons.
The incident was initially being treated as a possible road traffic collision.
Gardaí say following the results of the post mortem they are not looking for any other person or vehicle in relation to their investigation.
They're appealing to anyone with any information or dashcam footage from around the time of the incident to come forward.
