A man's been ordered to stay away from ATMs after being charged with the theft of over €8,000 from cash points across Dublin.
Ovidiu Raducanu, 35, of Pinebrook Glen in Huntstown appeared before Dublin District Court charged with 15 counts of theft.
The court heard the "reversal fraud" took place at ATMs in Crumlin, Killiney, Clonskeagh, Firhouse, Rathfarnham, Santry, Artane, Clonee and Carpenterstown over 3 days in January.
The fraud involves a criminal taking money out of an ATM, and managing to trick the machine into thinking the cash wasn't taken.
