Two men have died after the car they were travelling in entered the water in West Cork.
A third man has been airlifted to Cork University Hospital with serious injuries, while a fourth passenger was uninjured.
The single-vehicle collision occurred at around 5.30am this morning on the Kenmare Road near Glengarriff.
A man in his early 40s and a man in his late teens were pronounced dead at the scene.
The road is currently closed with local diversions in place.
Forensic Collision Investigators are expected to attend the scene.
Gardaí at Bantry are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Gardaí are also appealing for any road users who may have camera or dash-cam footage who were travelling in the area at the time to make this footage available to them.
