A man in his 50s remains in custody this morning after an alleged stabbing incident at Dublin Airport.
It happened outside the Terminal 1 building at around 11.30 on Sunday morning.
The man in his 50s, who was injured, is being treated in Beaumont Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Airport Police responded to the incident within 90 seconds and detained a person, who was then handed over to Gardaí.
No flights were impacted by the incident.
The man who was arrested is being held at a station in north Dublin.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact them.
Pedestrians or drivers with camera footage, who were around the Terminal 1 area between 11am and 11.45am on Sunday morning, are asked to make it available to investigating Gardaí.
