A man in his thirties remains in a stable condition in hospital after he was shot in West Dublin.
The shooting happened in the Castlecurragh area of Mulhuddart shortly after half past five yesterday evening.
The man was shot - twice - after being approached by two men wearing balaclavas
He was rushed to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown with serious injuries.
Gardai say no arrests have been made.
