A father of four who was shot in Dublin on Tuesday has died in hospital.
It follows an alleged row over a dog on farmland outside Tallaght.
This shooting happened on Tuesday afternoon at around 1 o'clock on Tuesday at Hazel Grove, a rural area outside Tallaght.
Keith Conlon, who's aged in his 30s, was hunting for rabbits at the time with a dog.
Following a confrontation, Mr Conlon was shot in the head and was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
He passed away in hospital this afternoon.
A man in his 50s was arrested at the scene and remains in Garda custody.
Gardai are not looking for anyone else in connection with the case, and are following a definite line of inquiry.
