A man has been seriously injured following a suspected hit and run in Co. Wexford.
The man in his 40s was discovered on the ground outside Saint Senan's Primary School.
Gardai found him after they were called to the scene of a fight at Fr. Murphy Park in Enniscorthy at around 8pm last night.
Gardai say "it was reported that a Silver Opel Meriva collided with the man at this location and then left the scene."
A burnt out car was later found on the South Slob in Wexford.
Gardaí are now investigating the potential link between that car and the incidents at Fr Murphy Park and Saint Senan's Primary School
A man in his early 20s has been arrested and is now being questioned at Wexford Garda Station.
