A man in his 40s has been seriously injured following a shooting in Dublin.
It happened at Griffeen Glen Park in Lucan at 1:50pm this afternoon.
Gardai say the victim of today's shooting was hit a number of times while he sat in his car.
He's been taken to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown where his condition is described as serious.

The road is closed to traffic and the scene is preserved.
Investigations are ongoing.
