Customs officers have arrested a man after they seized illegal tobacco products worth 30-thousand euro at Dublin airport.
The 40-year-old Danish man had arrived off a flight from Baghdad, Iraq.
He is being held on charges relating to the attempted smuggling in of almost 21-thosand cigarettes and nearly 58 kilos of tobacco, representing a potential loss to the Exchequer of 23-thousand euro.
Four different brands of cigarettes and perfumed tobacco were found in his bags.
The man was remanded in custody after a brief court appearance yesterday - he's due before a judge again tomorrow.
