A man has been rescued from the River Liffey in Dublin this afternoon after getting into difficulty.
He was spotted in the water at around 3:10pm.
Staff on board a Dublin Discovered Boat Tour saw the man had gotten into difficulty.
They were just about to pick up passengers for their 3:15 sightseeing tour.
Skippers on board the boat got a throwbag to the man in the water, and managed to bring him on board the "Spirit of the docklands".
He was later transferred to a Liffey River Taxi, where he was treated by Paramedics.
The man didn't need to be brought to hospital.
