A man remains in a critical condition this afternoon following a shooting in Drogheda Co. Louth.
He was shot while sitting in the passenger seat of a white Vauxhall Astra.
It happened in the car park of the M1 Retail Park at around 2:45pm yesterday.
Gardaí believe the suspects fled the scene in a black Volkswagen Passat 132 D 18498.
It was later found burnt out at a car park in Seapoint in Co. Louth.
Investigators are appealing for anyone with information to contact Drogheda Garda Station.
They're appealing in particular to anyone who was in the M1 Retail Park or the Seapoint car park.
