A runner has become only the fourth person to outrun a horse in an annual man vs horse race in Wales.
Daniel Connolly finished the 35-kilometre event in 2:24:38 - almost 10 minutes ahead of the first horse.
The BBC reports the first horse, DNS Ronaldo, was ridden by Kate Atkinson and took 2:34:25.
The event has been taking place in since 1980 following a pub chat over whether a man or horse would be faster covering mountainous terrain.
The course takes in boggy marshes, rivers, mud, hills around Llanwrtyd Wells in the south of Wales.
Hundreds of runners, and more than 60 horses, took part in the race on Saturday.
