A 39-year-old man has been shot dead in Co. Meath.
It happened at around 11:40pm last night outside his home at Castlemartin Drive in Bettystown.
Richie Carberry was shot up to 6 times.
He was taken by ambulance to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda but was pronounced dead shortly before 1am this morning.
Its believed the killing may be linked to an ongoing feud in Drogheda

A small van was found on fire at Eastham Rd, Bettystown, Co Meath shortly after the shooting, this scene is also being preserved for a technical examination.
Gardai at Ashbourne are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the shooting to come forward and they are particularly anxious to hear from road users with camera footage who were in the area at the time of shooting.
