A 41-year-old man has been killed after he was hit by a car in County Tipperary.
The incident happened at Burgess West, in Ballylooby, at around 11:25 last night.
His body has been taken to the mortuary at University Hospital Waterford where a post-mortem will take place.
The driver - a 26-year-old man - was uninjured.
The road remains closed this morning for a technical examination.
Gardaí in Cahir are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.
