A man in his early 40s has been killed following a crash between a car and truck in Co Limerick.
It happened at around 12:30 pm this afternoon on the N20 near Lackanagrour.
The townland lies about 20 minutes south of Adare.
The man who was driving the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency services have brought the driver of the truck to University Hospital Limerick as a precaution.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
