A man has been killed in a crash on the M50 motorway in Dublin.
It happened just before 3pm this afternoon.
The incident happened somewhere between Junction 12 Firhouse and Junction 13 Ballinteer.
Gardai say the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Forensic collision investigators are on the way to the crash site.
One lane southbound is currently closed and there are delays on approach.
Here's the latest information from AA Roadwatch:
"There are long delays on the M50 southbound now as emergency services are dealing with a collision between J12 Firhouse and J13 Ballinteer.
The left lane is currently blocked, with delays from J11 Tallaght.
Northbound traffic is also very heavy now from before J13."
