Gardai say a man has been injured in a shooting at a petrol station in Castlebar, County Mayo.
The 26-year-old man was shot a number of times and has been taken to Mayo General Hospital where he's receiving emergency treatment.
Gardai are searching for a dark coloured estate which was seen leaving the Moneen road area.
Earlier this year a man was injured in a shooting in the same area.
Its understood the man injured today is the third member of his family to be shot this year.
Gardai believe the incident is connected to an ongoing feud.
