A man in his 30s has died following a stabbing in Co Cork.
Gardaí and emergency services were called to the incident after a row reportedly broke out between two men at a pub on North Main Street in Youghal at around 9.50pm on Monday night.
A man in his 30s was taken to Cork University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
Another man, aged in his 20s, has been arrested in connection with the fatal assault.
He's currently being held at garda station in Co Cork, where he can be questioned for up to 24 hours.
A number of scenes are being preserved for forensic examination by the Garda Technical Bureau.
The Coroner, as well as the Office of the State Pathologist have been notified and a post-mortem examination is due to be carried out.

An incident room has been set up at Midleton Garda station. A family liaison officer has been appointed to support the family of the man who died.
