Man In Early 20s Dies In Cork Crash
A man in his early 20s has died after a crash near Midleton in Cork.
It happened on the N25 in the townland of Ballyedekin at around twenty-five-past-seven this morning, when a car and an articulated lorry collided.
The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body has been brought to the mortuary at Cork University Hospital.
The road is closed between Midleton and Castlemartyr, a technical exam of the scene is being carried out, and local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
