A man in his mid 30's arrested by Gardaí in relation to a hit and run incident which occured at Trinity Lane in Dublin on Thursday has been released without charge.
A file will be prepared for the DPP.
The man was arrested at midday on Thursday afternoon and was detained in Mountjoy Garda under Section 4 of Criminal Justice Act 1984.
The 34 yr old man who was injured in the incident remains in a serious condition in the Mater Hospital.
