A man in his 50s has been charged following the discovery of a woman's body in north Dublin on Thursday.
He is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice in Dublin this morning.
Gardaí and emergency services were called to a house in the Kilbarrack Road area of Raheny on Thursday morning.
The woman, who was aged in her 40s, is understood to have suffered a violent death.
Two children were also in the house at the time of the incident, but were not harmed.
