A 29-year-old man has appeared in court charged with murdering a mother of two in North Dublin.
24-year-old Jennifer Poole was stabbed to death at her home in Finglas on Saturday.
Gavin Murphy of Coultry Drive in Ballymun appeared before Blanchardstown District Court in the past few minutes charged with her murder.
The court heard he made no reply when he was charged just after midnight at Finglas Garda Station.
The accused has been remanded in custody to appear in court again, via video link, on Friday.
Tributes have been paid to Ms. Poole, a mother of two young children, with her local GAA club, Erin’s Isle, saying they are shocked and saddened at her death and she will be remembered fondly.
A go fund me page has been set up to help cover the cost of Jennifer’s funeral and to support her family.
