A man is due in court in Limerick this morning charged in connection with the murder of an 11-year-old boy.
Brooklyn Colbert was found dead at a house in the Ballynanty area of the city last Sunday.
11-year-old Brooklyn Colbert was found severely injured shortly after seven o'clock last Sunday evening at a house on the Shanabooly Road in the north of the city.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, and Gardaí opened a murder investigation.
A man in his twenties was arrested on Sunday night in connection with the case.
He's due to appear before Limerick District Court at ten o'clock this morning, charged in connection with the death.
At 11, Brooklyn's funeral mass will take place at St Saviour's Church in the city
He's to be laid to rest at Mount St Oliver Cemetery.
