A man has died after a crash between two motorcycles and a van in Co Limerick.
It happened at around 5.00 pm on Saturday outside Dromkeen.
The driver of the motorcycle, a man aged in his early 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post mortem is to be carried out at a later date at University Hospital Limerick.
Another male motorcyclist was also taken to University Hospital Limerick, where his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The road was closed earlier pending an examination by forensic collision investigators.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information, particularly any road users who may have camera footage travelling on the N24 between Limerick and Tipperary before 5.00 pm, to come forward.
