A man has died in a road crash in Co Meath.
The single-vehicle crash happened at 11.55 pm last night on the R147 Kells to Virginia Road.
The man's body was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda, where he was pronounced dead.
No other injuries have been reported.
Gardaí and emergency services are at the scene this morning, where Forensic Collision Investigators will also carry out an examination.
Diversions are in place to facilitate the road's closure from Carnaross to the Kells Business Park entrance.

Gardaí are appealing to any road users who were travelling on the R147 overnight between 11:30 pm and 12:15 am, and who may have video or dashcam footage of the crash is asked to make it available to investigating Gardaí.
