A man has died following a road crash in Sligo.
The crash, between a car and truck, happened at around noon on the N4 between Castlebaldwin and Collooney.
The driver of the car was a man in his 40s.
He was the only person in the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
His body has since been removed to the mortuary at Sligo University Hospital.
The scene at the crash site is preserved for examination by Garda forensic collision investigators.
