A man has died following a road crash in Donegal this morning.
The crash happened in Letterkenny at around 12:30am.
The man was in his 30s was critically injured in the crash, and later died in hospital.
It is understood the car he was driving left the R265 road and collided with a tree.
He was the sole occupant of the car.
The scene at the crash site is currently preserved for a technical exam.
Investigating Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
