Man Dies Following Assault In Dublin
A man has died following an assault in Tallaght in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.
An arrest has been made by Gardaí who remain at the scene this lunchtime.
The injured person was taken from the scene in Drumcairn Estate to Tallaght Hospital in the early hours of this morning where he was later pronounced dead.
A man is being questioned at a garda station in Dublin where he can be held for up to 24 hours.
Officers are appealing for anyone who was in the area between 3 and 4am to contact them , particularly anyone with dashcam footage.
