A man's been arrested in Co. Waterford following a fatal assault.
A man was seriously injured at a house in Portlaw just before 3 o'clock this morning.
The man in his 40s was taken to University Hospital Waterford and was pronounced dead a short time later.
A man in his 20s has been arrested and is being held at Tramore Garda Station.
Gardai are expecting to launch a murder investigation and the scene has been sealed off.
