A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a mother of three in Dublin.
34 year old Skaidrite Valdgeima was stabbed at Binary Hubb Apartments in the Bonham Street area of the city in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Emergency services discovered Ms. Valdgeema with a number of stab injuries.
She was then brought to hospital and pronounced dead a short time later.
A 22 year old man has appeared in court this afternoon charged with her murder.
Dressed in a grey sweatshirt and navy tracksuit bottoms, the court heard that Latvian national Valerijs Leitons of St Kevins Gardens, Dartry, Dublin 6 made no reply when charged.
The 34 year old was originally from Latvia but had lived in Blessington, Co Wicklow, for several years.
A request was made that he receive the appropriate psychiatric and medical attention.
He’s been remanded in custody to Cloverhill to appear again Next Friday.
