A man in his 30s has been remanded in custody, after being charged with the murder of a 30-year-old woman in Co Meath.
33-year-old Andrei Dobra, with an address at River Walk Court in Ratoath appeared at Trim District Court this morning.

Shortly after 6pm on Saturday, 30 year old Iona Michaela Pacala was found dead at her home at River Walk Court in Ratoath.
Her partner, 33 year old Andrei Dobra, who was living at the same address, was arrested at the scene and was charged at Ashbourne Garda Station last night.
In response to the charge, Mr Dobra said “I’m sorry for that, it shouldn’t have happened”.
He and Ms Pacala were originally from Romania and had been living in Ireland for a number of years. They had recently moved from Dublin to their new home in Meath.
Mr Dobra made no application for bail and was remanded to Cloverhill Prison.
He’s to appear before Trim District Court on Thursday.
A psychiatric assessment will also be carried out and a Romanian translator will be assigned to Mr Dobra.
