A man has appeared in court today charged in connection with the seizure of €33,000 worth of cocaine.
On Sunday evening, Gardaí stopped and searched a man in his 20s in the Muirhevnamore area of Dundalk.
€2,000 worth of cocaine was uncovered and the man was arrested and detained at Dundalk Garda Station.
During a number of follow-up searches, €31,500 worth of cocaine was discovered.
The man has since been charged and appeared before Ardee District Court this morning.
