A man in his 30s has been rearrested in connection to an alleged assault last month in Donegal.
The body of a man in his 60s was recovered from the water off Sliabh Liag earlier this month following an extensive search including Gardaí and the Coast Guard.
It's believed an alleged assault took place in the Sliabh Liag/Killybegs area between Saturday June 24th, and Sunday June 25th.
The man arrested is being held at a Garda station in the north-west.
In a statement, Gardaí said:
"A male individual in his 30s has been rearrested by Gardaí as part of an ongoing investigation into an alleged assault that reportedly took place in the Slieve League/Killybegs area of County Donegal between Saturday, June 24, 2023, and Sunday, June 25, 2023.
