A man, who was arrested in connection with a GSOC investigation, has been released without charge.
The man in his 60s was arrested yesterday by detectives from the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation on suspicion of disclosing information.
His arrest follows the resignation in recent days of a GSOC investigator who's alleged to have been at a party that Gerry 'The Monk' Hutch attended, hours after being found not guilty of the 2016 murder of David Byrne at the Regency Hotel in Dublin.
The man has been released without charge, and a file will be sent to the DPP.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
