A man in his 50s has been arrested after a man was killed in a crash in County Wexford.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to the the crash, which happened at around 2:10pm yesterday afternoon, when a truck and car collided northbound on the M11 off the Clough roundabout in Gorey.
A man in his 30s was killed in the crash when his car caught fire after the accident. He was was the only person in the car.
The man's body was removed from the scene and taken to the mortuary at Waterford University Hospital, where a postmortem is expected to be carried out today.
The man driving the truck wasn't injured.
Gardai are appealing to motorists with dash cam footage to contact them.
Anyone travelling from Camolin towards the M11 Northbound to Clogh, between ten to 2 and a quarter past 2 yesterday afternoon is asked to ring Gorey Garda Station.
The road has since reopened.
