Gardai investigating a serious hit and run in Cork City have arrested a juvenile as past of their investigation.
The juvenile - who is in his late teens - is being detained at Bridewell Garda station.
Gardaí believe there were a number of people in the car at the time of the incident.
They're appealing for the passengers to come forward.
Child Injured
A two and a half year old child remains in a critical but stable condition following the hit and run.
It happened at Castle Meadows off Skehard Road shortly before 4pm yesterday.
Anyone who may have seen the incident is being asked to contact Gardai.
