A man has been arrested by Gardaí investigating the murder of a mother and her two young children in Dublin.
The bodies of 37-year-old Seema Banu, her 11-year-old daughter Asfira, and six-year-old son Faizan were discovered at their home in Ballinteer on the 28th of October.
It is believed they had been dead for a number of days and, following post-mortem examination Gardaí launched a murder inquiry.
Investigators questioned a 36-year-old man who was known to the mother and her children in the days following their deaths; however, he was not arrested.
This morning a man in his 30s was arrested and taken to Dundrum Garda Station.
