A 26 year old man is due in court this morning, charged in connection with the murders of two brothers in Co. Mayo earlier this week.
The bodies of Jack and Tom Blaine were found at their home on New Antrim Street in Castlebar at around 7.30 on Wednesday morning.
It's understood they were badly beaten and Gardai yesterday launched a murder inquiry into their deaths.
A 26 year old man who was being questioned in relation to the investigation will appear before Swinford District court this morning.
Meanwhile a book of condolences for the brothers, who were aged 68 and 70, has been opened in Castlebar.
