A man in his twenties has been killed in a road crash in Cavan.
The single vehicle crash happened at Carrickaboy between Cavan and Kilnaleck just before 6 o'clock this morning.
Another man and two women - all in their late teens or early 20s - who were also in the car were taken to Cavan General Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The scene has been preserved for a technical examination.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to the crash to come forward.
