A man has died in a road crash in Co. Clare.
The single-vehicle collision happened on the R471 Sixmilebridge to Shannon Road at around 4 o'clock this morning.
The body of the man-who was the only occupant of the vehicle and is believed to be in his late twenties- has been removed to University Hospital Limerick where a post mortem examination will take place.
The road remains sealed off for a technical examination this morning.
