A male cyclist has died following a crash in Cork this morning.
He was fatally injured following a collision with a car.
It happened on the R639 between Fermoy and Rathcormac at approximately 7 am.
The male cyclist, who was 60 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Garda Forensic Collision Investigators are currently at the scene and the road is currently closed.
Any witnesses who were in the area at the time are being asked to contact Gardai.
