Love Island hopefuls will have to pass new mental health tests following the death of a former contestant last month
26 year old Mike Thalassatis, who was on the show in 2017, took his own life in March after battling depression.
Meanwhile last year, 2016 contestant Sophie Gradon died by suicide after suffering from anxiety.
According to The Sun, bosses want stars to be safe mentally and physically and contestants will also have to undergo enhanced STI checks.
There is no official start date for this year's series, but it usually begins during the first week of June.
