Plans for the long-delayed Metro-Link rail service to Dublin Airport are to be announced this morning.
It will run from north of Swords to Charlemont in Dublin's South City - and from Ranelagh to Swords.
It is expected to be operational by 2034.
The long-awaited airport rail link was initially proposed over 20 years ago and was expected to cost about €3 billion.

17 years later the bill for the 19km link is expected to be about €9.5 billion.
Yesterday Eamon Ryan received Cabinet approval to give the green light to the National Transport Authority to proceed with the project, before submitting a planning application in September.
The timeline for the project is expected to be announced later today.
Construction will begin in 2025 with the first trains by 2034, at the latest.
