The famous Lisdoonvarna Matchmaking Festival is relocating to Spain for its upcoming event.
The annual festival in Co Clare was cancelled for the second year in a row due to the pandemic.
Organisers have taken the event to Alicante, and it kicks off next week.
"Huge interest from young people as well. Basically, it's all a bit of craic - to bring a bit of craic back," said Diarmuid Moore who says there's been a great response to Lisdoonvarna in the sun.
"We've had no Paddy's Day Parade here for the last two years. Over the week there will be afternoon music sessions and evening music sessions.
"Willie the matchmaker himself will be visiting all the pubs on the different days. He has a sharp eye for the matchmaking as everybody knows."
