Lisa Smith has been found guilty of being a member of the terror group ISIS between October 2015 and December 2019.
The former Irish Defence Forces soldier was earlier this morning found not guilty of financing terrorism through a Western Union transfer to an ISIS fighter in 2015.
The former Irish Defence Forces soldier had consistently denied the charges and applied to the court to have them dropped after the trial ended back in March.

During her lengthy trial before the non-jury Special Criminal Court, the judges heard details of how she left the Irish Defence Forces after converting to Islam.
It was the prosecution’s case that she was later radicalised online and that she travelled to Syria where she was a member of ISIS between October 2015 and December 2019.
She was also accused of financing terrorism through an €800 Western Union transfer in 2015 to help an ISIS fighter.
The 40-year-old mother-of-one from Dundalk has denied both charges.
She has now been found guilty of ISIS membership but not guilty of funding terrorism.
