Limited Rail Services Northbound From Dublin Connolly This Weekend
There will be no DARTs on Dublin's northside this long weekend as Iarnrod Eireann say major works are taking place.
Enterprise rail services to from Dublin Connolly to Belfast will not operate on Saturday with bus transfers operating instead.
While for Sunday, the Belfast trains will only run between Drogheda and Belfast with bus transfers then to and from Dublin Connolly
There will be no Commuter rail services over the weekend between Dublin and Dundalk/Drogheda with a limited bus replacement service running instead.
The DART will also be affected as it will only run between Connolly and Greystones over the weekend.
It's as thousands of people are expected in the capital on Sunday for the Dublin Marathon.
Jane Cregan from Irish Rail admits it's not ideal.
"We do agree that there is some inconvenience to those attending the marathon and we apologise for that.
"But unfortunately, we have to balance what's happening during a bank holiday weekend, as opposed to what might be happening on a regular weekend, or also, during the week - we would never do works.
"Because obviously people are getting to work to college to school and to other appointments.
