More than 100 people have been evacuated after a suspicious package was found at an An Post depot in Limerick this morning.
The Justice Minister has said there's reason to believe it could be linked to the recent letter bombs in the UK.
An army bomb disposal team is on site.
Staff at the main sorting office on the Dock Road, alerted Gardai after coming across the package shortly after 6am.
The discovery was made in the National Returned Letters Centre, which deals with deliverable mail.
16 staff were initially evacuated from that section, before more than 100 were later cleared from adjoining buildings.
