Lidl Ireland has announced its taking cartoon characters off its cereal boxes.
The supermarket has committed to making the change to its own-brand cereals by Spring 2020.
The move is designed to help parents tackle pester power and encourage healthier choices.
Lidl will introduce new, cartoon-free branding for the following:
• Crownfield Honey Nut Flakes
• Crownfield Honey Hoops
• Crownfield Choco Rice
• Crownfield Rice Snaps
• Crownfield Frosted Flakes
• Crownfield Choco Hoops
• Crownfield Choco Shells
