Liam Neeson's apologised for comments last month - after he said he'd once wanted to "kill a black man".
The 66 year old says he "missed the point" during an interview to promote his latest film "Cold Pursuit", in which he recounted feelings he'd had decades ago.
The actor issued a statement saying he'd had time to reflect on his "hurtful and divisive" remarks adding they "do not reflect, in any way, my true feelings nor me."
