Education Minister Norma Foley has confirmed this year's Leaving Cert results will be released on August 25th.
It comes following weeks of uncertainty over when the class of 2023 would find out their results.
Traditionally results were issued in the middle of August; however last year they were not released until September 2nd.
Education Minister Norma Foley believes there's enough examiners in place to have the grades returned in August:
"I think the fact that the SEC (State Examinations Commission) are not out presently still recruiting, I think that speaks for itself.
"But I think the SEC are in a better position themselves to confirm that.
"But I think we can also look as well, perhaps maybe if the orals been run and how well that ran off as well.
So I'm confident that they're very satisfied that they have the appropriate compliment that's required for the exams for correction."
